WIP Wednesday

This is what my living room floor has looked like since Monday - good thing I have a tolerant husband.


I have pieced all my strips for my version of this quilt and decided to include some Klona sashing to contain the triangles so I have just been consulting with my daughter about the colour.  The mini quilt is my Klona swatchcard quilt!


I kept the key so I actually use it as a reference.  It does not photograph well, but is one of my all time favourite makes.  It is okay to say that, I hope!

    Tolerant husbands rock! Your strip-ey triangle quilt is beautiful and I TOTALLY love that mini swatchcard quilt. That is an idea I am totally going to steal.

    Coolio! Great idea for the swatch card and the triangle one is great, love the neutral ground. I have my eye on making a not dissimilar one I saw at cuppa and a catchup by Nova

    Oh your strippy triangles are so pretty! Going to make a wonderful quilt! I need a Kona Cotton Swatch quilt! How handy! I was online buying Kona Cotton on Sunday and it would have been wonderful to have something with all their colors to pick and choose from!

    I love your strippy triangles. and Kudos to the tolerant hubby! I know all too well about sore knees from basting on the floor. But hey we do what we gotta do. It's all worth it in the end:)
