Music bag - WIP

Making my daughter a bag to take her piano music to lessons.  Free-motion embroidery, raw-edge applique.   My ability is trailing behind what I wanted to achieve, but I'm having fun!

  1. Looks brilliant Catherine, music is the theme of our last block in the Star of Africa Bee perhaps I should think of something along this line as I am really stuck for inspiration!

  7. So cool! I never thought of doing free-motion embroidery. It looks really great combined with the applique, I might have to try it myself. Thanks for the inspiration!

  9. 'Tis so very pretty and whimsical Catherine! Your daughter will be skipping and singing as she goes to her music lessons holding her 'cute as cute' bag. You are too hard on yourself....your free motion embroidery is wonderful!!
